St
Ives is full of stairs, but I hadn't photographed this flight before |
|
The rooftops
of Stennack School, which is now a business centre - I wonder where
the kids go to learn now

This
is the view from the lounge of our holiday flat |

Juliet
on the beach with The Island in the background. The children in the
pit are nothing to do with us - I just wanted them there to balance
the composition |

The
fat ghost with Juliet in this picture is in fact me, puffing from the
ten second sprint from the camera to the rock next to her
Juliet
and her Dad |

Doug
and Ruth Eyeions,
Juliet's Mum and Dad |

Juliet
tests the paddling possibilities |

I
don't know who this man is, but he provides a perfect division between
contrasting rock and sea textures |
|
This
is the head by Porthgwidden Beach, sunset limned on top and with a returning
fishing boat. |
|
The
balcony of the flat is the perfect place to see Penwith's ubiquitous
sunsets.
These are a tiny sample from many pictures this evening.
There
is a huge number of gulls in St Ives - more than I remember (and far
fewer cats - no, surely, it couldn't be...) and they were constantly
intruding. I can assure everyone that the Susan Polis Schultz character
of some of these and ensuing pictures is entirely accidental... |
