Colin Scot was my friend.

I first saw him play at the White Bear Folk Club in 1969, where he ended the evening with the full twenty minute version of Ooo-aaa-cha-cha-cha.

I got to know him around the clubs – there was a club every evening in London in those days – and started ferrying him to and from gigs whenever he was playing in or around London.
