Chums 1932/33 | Chums 1928/29
Colour plates
These
two copies of Chums are quite battered. Each features a fold-out colour
picture tipped in facing the title page. Both have been badly folded and
overcreased. The earlier one shows a famous sea battle where the Broke
rams the G32. It is so badly creased it is not worth reproducing. This
is the other, and my favourite of all these pics - I've done quite a lot
of restoration work on this, and I'm so pleased I've even set it as my
desktop.

Where East Meets West. Of course this is my other favourite, although it isn't quite as richly coloured as the lead item on this page, and the original is only half the size, so not as detailed. |
