Synopsis:
My second romantic comedy, set in the world of makeover TV. A gardening
show go on location in a Scottish castle owned by an ageing rock
star to make a series in which they have to not only fix up the rockery
but re-plant a maze which is cursed and re-enact scenes from the
dodgy past of former lairds. My two heroines – a long-suffering
producer with a star-crossed love-life and a C-list celeb with an
over-developed ego and a spoiled fiancé – have to deal
with eccentric staff, skeletons in the closet and ghosts in the machine,
while failing to sort out their own lives at the same time.

Comments:
Despite
the packaging, which looks like something from Accessorise, this is a
very cynical view of the media world, with some romance thrown
in. I liked it a lot – as did both the Sun and the Independent. |
